Prenatal (Antenatal) Classes
Our Preglates™ classes are designed by physiotherapists for expectant
mothers
These are small group classes comprising matwork, swiss ball, and the
Pilates ring
• Maintain your strength and flexibility
• Focus on posture, pelvic floor and core strength
• Learn and practice good lifting habits to use when baby arrives
• Exercise safely
• Prepare for labour
Health fund rebate may be available for these classes.
Pilates studio equipment programmes for the expectant mother
Our physiotherapists can design an individualized programme in our equipment
studio that is safe and effective for pregnancy. Working on Reformers,
Trapeze tables (Cadillacs) and Wunda chairs we can help you keep your
body performing at its optimum.
We focus on core strength, pelvic floor and posture and your programme
will be modified as your body changes and your pregnancy progresses
These classes are a great option for the busy mother to be as we have
more studio sessions to choose from and flexibility in bookings.
Health fund rebate may be available for these classes.
Post Natal Classes
You can commence our post natal Matwork classes after your 6 week obstetric
check up. If you have had a caesarean we will ensure that you are working
at the appropriate level.

• Regain pelvic floor tone
• Network socially with other mothers
• Receive support and advice from our physiotherapists

Mother and Baby classes
You are welcome to bring your baby along to these classes
This Pilates mat work class will assist you to

Physiotherapy treatment during and after pregnancy
Our physiotherapists can treat you for musculoskeletal back pain, neck
pain, pelvic pain and pelvic floor issues. They can assist with education
of how to protect your back and pelvis during pregnancy and after birth
in handling your baby.
They can recommend any postural support belts that you may require.
Home exercise programmes
Want to exercise but you can’t get to class. We have
Preglates™ exercise DVDs available for
purchase so you can exercise at home in your own time.
These can be ordered at www.preglates.com.au or purchased at our practice.
